Because really, SATC has little to do with sex or the city, and everything to do with the amazing friendships between the 4 main characters. I think the friendships look a little different at a superficial level when they're between "bros" versus between women, but it's the same stuff underneath. And as you said, that stuff is rare and precious and hard to find/keep. I'm crossing my fingers and "bating my breath" for your good news! Girls can have those friendships too. :P
